Ryan Carter

Ryan Carter is a Visual Information Specialist with the U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Command and

a former Navy Mass Communication Specialist.

 

With nearly two decades of experience behind

the camera, he has documented naval operations, leadership engagements, and fleet missions while producing photography and video that support strategic communication across the Navy.

 

His work focuses on visual storytelling across documentary, portraiture, and motion media. Carter was named New Navy Photographer of the Year in 2016 and 2023 Navy Civilian Videographer of the Year, and continues to pursue personal creative work in astrophotography

and landscape photography.
