Linda Epstein
Linda Epstein is the Senior Photo Editor for the Secretary of State.
For 7 years prior she was Senior Photo Editor at ShareAmerica, a division of Global Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.
Previously, Linda was a contract photo editor with the Washington Post which included photo researcher for the 2016 Pulitzer Prize-winning national database won by the Post for national reporting.
Prior, Linda spent 15 years as Senior Photo Editor for McClatchy-Tribune (formerly Knight Ridder/Tribune), handling all the photos for the McClatchy Washington Bureau's regional, national and foreign correspondents.
Prior to KRT, she worked as a picture editor and assignments editor during her three years at The Washington Times.
Linda started her journalism career as a photographer for several newspapers in Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey and Ohio.
A graduate of Syracuse University, Linda is a member of the White House News Photographers Association and National Press Photographers Association.

Jamie Rose
Jamie Rose is the Senior Supervisor for the United State Senate Photographic Services.
She has worked as an international photojournalist on five continents and has been a contract photographer and communication strategist with some of the world’s largest nonprofit organizations through her previous role as the COO of Momenta Group.
Her work has been published in National Geographic Books, The New York Times Magazine, The Washington Post Magazine, O Magazine, Rolling Stone, Better Homes and Gardens, Newsweek, TIME Magazine and others. Her nonprofit clients include The Global Fund, Doctors Without Borders, The Calvert Foundation, and Physicians for Human Rights among many other local and domestic organizations.
Her photo editing skills were rewarded when she was asked to be the lead photo editor National Geographic’s American Heroes picture book.
In 2011, Jamie was awarded the United Nations’ IPC’s Photographers Leadership Award. She has also won awards and grants for her documentary and nonprofit work including from The Alexia and the prestigious White House News Photographers’ Association Project Grant for her portfolio of nonprofit work from Africa.
Jamie is considered an expert in photography business development. She has been interviewed twice by Photo District News (PDN), News Photographer Magazine, as well as online publications and podcasts about the importance of nonprofit documentary photography. She has also been an invited guest lecturer at Harvard University, Georgetown University, American University, Syracuse University, and Columbia University’s Journalism schools about her work with international and humanitarian documentary photography.

Mark Suban
Mark Suban is a visual storyteller with a diverse background spanning military service, photojournalism, professional photography support, and public service.
He served 21 years as a United States Air Force photographer, where he developed his skills in visual information and supported combat camera missions in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. He also contributed to the Defense Information School (DINFOS), where he developed and taught multimedia, training and mentoring the next generation of military photographers and storytellers.

He then worked as a photo editor with the Associated Press for three years, selecting and transmitting images for national and global distribution. In a deadline-driven newsroom, he refined a strong eye for impactful imagery while upholding the highest standards of accuracy, ethics, and visual storytelling.
Mark spent nearly 12 years with Nikon Professional Services, first as the Washington, DC professional representative and later as a senior manager. He worked closely with photographers across sports, news, and commercial fields, helping them solve complex technical challenges and perform at their best in demanding, real-world conditions.

He currently serves as a Scientific and Technical Photographer with the FBI’s Operational Projects Unit, where he has spent the past six years transforming complex evidence into clear visual representations. He enjoys mentoring photographers and looks for images that combine strong storytelling with authentic, well-timed moments.
